It happens … it just didn’t fit or that lime color doesn't look as good as it did on the web. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from us. So here is the low down on returning items at Midwest Mountaineering.
We have a 90-day return policy from the date of purchase. The only exception to this is climbing gear: Climbing gear is never returnable.
A receipt must accompany all returns (or we must be able to find the purchase in your customer sales history).
The items you are returning must be in new condition so we can resell them as new (no smells, no hair, no dirt, no kidding).
For items purchased with a credit card – credit will be issued back to the original card. You will need to provide us with your card number because we do not have a record of your number (only the last 4 digits).
For items purchased with a check, a store check will be sent to you. Make sure you provide us with a correct mailing address.
For items purchased with a store credit, a merchandise credit will be sent to you.

Important!! Return shipping cost is your responsibility except in the case where you received an incorrect item or your item was damaged in transit. Include a description of why it is being returned.
If you want to return a special order item (something we ordered just for you and we don’t normally carry), 15% (of the price of the item) will be kept as a restocking fee to cover the return shipping back to the manufacturer or to cover selling it at a loss.
