Expo Setup Crew Members:
Work about twenty hours during Expo week assisting with Outdoor Adventure Expo setup. Manual labor will be involved. Apply by November 8th (Winter Expo) or April 14th (Spring Expo).
Expo Setup Crew Members:
We are now accepting applications for both part time and temporary positions for our spring Outdoor Adventure Expo. We ask that you do not call the store to inquire about application status. Retail Sales:
Midwest Mountaineering does not currently have any open sales positions. However, we encourage applicants with extensive Nordic skiing background to submit an application in anticipation of another snowy winter. You must understand the basics of the following:
- Skate, Classic, and Backcountry Nordic Skis.
- Basic kick and glide ski waxing.
- Advanced waxing experience a plus.
- High School and/or Collegiate racing experience a plus.
- Telemark/Randonee ski experience a plus.
Retail Sales:
We are now hiring for part time positions [12-25 hrs/week] in multiple departments. You must be available nights [5-9] and 1/2 of the weekend days each month to be considered for these positions.

Camping Department Coordinator:
Full time position. Qualified candidates will need to have extensive backpacking / camping experience and up-to=date product knowledge in all related categories. Preference given to those with merchandising skills from previous retail store experience. Must have great communication skills. Outgoing, friendly and people-oriented approach to service are required.
Wages range from $9 to $14 per hour depending on qualifications. Benefits include flexible time off for playing outdoors, paid vacation, 401K, education money, monthly bonuses based upon achieving department sales goals, holiday and sick pay plus subsidized health care (HSA).
